Phobia Project

 What's Phobia?

A). A Phobia is when someone has a extreme fear to something 




  B). List 5 and define 

    Acrophobia- Fear of heights.

Melanophobia- Fear of the color black.

Enochlophobia- Fear of crowds.

Odynophobia or Odynephobia- Fear of pain.

C).  Climacophobia- Stairs or climbing stairs. I'm planning to shoot this on bowie campus in one of the halls downstairs .By achieving this I could  doing like a angle leading up to the stairs in the building or  make it look like from the viewer's point of view  as if they were small looking up. The lighting in phototshop I hope  to make it look black and white. And would like to see if I can make the edges to it darker so it would almost look creepy and it would create  more depth. I'm not sure who will model yet.

 Dendrphobia- Trees   

Between Fredrisksberg and Harper they have these really cool trees that are dead. Yet they make these interesting looking shapes like one of them once looked like a hand was going to grab you out from the earths surface. Or reach out for a car. I don't know who will model yet. but i'm hopeing they could try and wear bright clothes so they would show up from the background. Also I am not sure how the subject will model but I would like to shoot the picture during sunrise or sunset.

Ophthalmophobia- Stared at or being.  During B lunch I hang out with a lot of people all in a group and i think i could use them for this topic. Maybe have all of them in a circle and have them give like dirty looks a a individual who 's hands are covering their face and their legs are pulled in. To make things interesting I might try going over with the camera over the  individuals head. But mostly I will go and do all angles from different sides. I will keep it in color .

This also was one of my favorites since the water drops hit him and it creates these shadows on him.

This is one of my favorite pictures because its really rare and unique to have the ability  that the photographer can capture the action and I don't think anyone could break his record .


 lastly the picture with Simone bile's is my favorite sowing how flexible she is and the fact that her head upside down .And the fact that the background is nice and clean making her stand out.


Best Song

 It was hard to pick a song because I'm into a mix of artists and genre's . In fact it was hard to pick one song from the musical Alexander Hamilton but I finally chose the first cabinet battle . One reason I am into the song's is because its combining history and rap together and another is some of my friends know it so its fun to sing along with them.


Best Movie

 I chose the movie edge of seventeen because its relatable to me. I'm extremely quiet during class. I liked the fact that in the beginning of the movie Nadine and Krista have been friends since elementary. And this guy named Erwin was really funny at the end with his cartoon drawings of Nadine. Lastly I loved the teacher Mr Bruner and his personality with Nadine.

 The most event story of 2016 was the presidential election between Hilary Clinton and Donald trump. It seemed to be the topic of everything for months since its the first time a women got nominated for president. And during the time they kept going back and fourth between Clinton with her emails and Trump with his sexist comments about women.



Important Pearson 2016

    President Donald Trump  has the most impact either negative or positive around the world. By losing the popular vote and speaking out against so many different types of people he's turned off a lot of Americans. And made them concerned about their future. During 2016 most people would nonstop talk about him when he was elected, later there was a big up war or excitement from others but in many different parts of the world there was protesting including in the United States.


Biggest Entertainment Story 

 I chose " The walking dead "serious since its the most watched in drama history . I only started watching it last year in 2016. Its full of drama,action,sci fi. Some people assume its disgusting and violent . I also look at it as a group of people who are caring for one another and trying to make it through.  The characters start growing and changing over time .  While watching the episodes the thrill of it is exciting even if it means yelling or screaming with my mom at the T.V


1. One thing ill remember during my winter break would be during New years eve me and a couple of friends had a sleepover doing games and just chilling. Only two of us stayed up to 4;00 am just talking about school or just how everything that's going on.

2. My news year resolution is to make sure I'm prepared for going into the next step to being a counselor at Rocky River Ranch (a girls overnight camp in Wimberley). This will be my ninth year going.

3. Something I'm looking forward to during 2017 is wanting it to be summer so i can go Rocky River Ranch and have no homework.
